Today, it is the birth anniversary of Jamshedji Tata, founder of the Tata Group of companies. Jamshedji Tata is the name of that industrialist who inspired the entire world. Not only did he build his legacy out of nothing, but also established a business house which, for the past many years has been keeping the needs of the common man in equal focus as the business. Often, the Tata Group has put aside profit and loss in their businesses, giving priority to the needs of the country. Whether it is with regards to providing good-quality salt or building economical transport trucks for commercial use, whenever the question of the country’s need arose, this company has never given preference to the business angle. And this is the reason why ‘Tata’ not only emerged as the most trustworthy brand in the world, but also gained a place in the people’s hearts! Truly it is difficult to imagine an India without brand ‘Tata’ today. Simply remembering the great Jamshedji Tata on his birth anniversary fills me with pride for him and also towards our country which has given birth to such an extraordinary son.
