Bhagavad Gita – Krishna, you say that I am the Eternal Truth. Great secrets of Nature lie hidden within me. All the laws and formulae of success are embedded within me. Yet, there are so many temples of yours, whereas I don’t have even a few. And even in the few that do exist, you are the one who reigns supreme.…Why is it so?
Krishna, laughing – So what difference is it making to you and me? Whether you have any temples or not, the Eternal Truth lies within you alone. I am a Life. Whether my temples are built, I am worshipped…or adorned, what will man gain out of it?….But man is foolish. He doesn’t realise your significance and keeps chasing me…and he is not going to get anything from me. This is why, though everyone worships me in India, they get nothing in return. Had they built your temples instead of mine and discussed your profound teachings there, then wouldn’t every Indian have become happy and successful today? Wouldn’t the entire world have bowed to India’s might?
